Johnson County Park & Recreation District is holding an open house on Tuesday as part of the planning process to develop a park master plan for a portion of the former Meadowbrook Country Club. Residents are invited to participate and weigh in on how the park should be developed. The meeting occur from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the future 88-acre park site located at 9101 Nall Avenue in Prairie Village.
There will be interactive stations both indoors and out, and participants can come and go at their convenience. Planning activities will also be available for children to help get families excited about the wonderful potential of this new regional park.
If you're unable to attend the open house, residents can still help to design the park by sharing ideas online at www.meadowbrook.mysidewalk.com.
