High School Seniors
In 2019, our epidemiologists partnered with the Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) program to offer an introduction to public health to students in the Medical & Healthcare Strand. Over the fall semester, our staff went to students' classrooms to share knowledge, answer questions and assist them in the development of an end-of-semester poster presentation.
Although observations in the clinic are not permitted, there are many different programs within the department that welcome high school students to shadow/observe. Email the education coordinator or call 913-477-8337 today to discuss your needs!
