Mid-January is the perfect time to start making plans for summer seasonal jobs when the Johnson County Park & Recreation District conducts a Summer Job Fair on Jan. 11.
This event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, in the Boardroom of the JCPRD Administration Building in Shawnee Mission Park, 7900 Renner Road, Shawnee. No appointments are necessary for this drop-in event, and participants can apply onsite. No resume is required.
With more than 200 positions to fill, the fair will focus on seasonal and part-time summer jobs, but there are also some immediate openings. Some examples of jobs to be filled include summer camp positions, lifeguards, concessions, sports facility maintenance, marina workers, fitness instructors, and sports officials. Job sites are located throughout Johnson County.
