Deadlines approaching quickly for Kansas Presidential Preference Primary Election

The Johnson County Election Office is encouraging all eligible voters to be aware of upcoming deadlines for the Presidential Preference Primary Election on March 19.

Voter Registration and Party Affiliation Deadline: Feb. 20, 2024

To be eligible to register to vote, you must be a United States citizen, a Johnson County resident, and 18 years old on or before Election Day. Register to vote online at jocoelection.org/registration or in person at the Johnson County Election Office located at 2101 E. Kansas City Rd. in Olathe.

Current registered voters can review their voter registration information at jocoelection.org/voterview. Individuals who need to change their political party affiliation, address, or name must re-register to vote.

Advance Mail Ballot Application Deadline: Feb. 20, 2024

Any registered voter can apply to vote by mail. No reason is required, but an application must be submitted for each election per state law.

Print an application online at voter.jocoelection.org or fill one out in person at the Johnson County Election Office. Ballots begin mailing 20 days prior to Election Day.
