Johnson County entered Phase 1 of the reopening plan on Monday, May 11. Several Johnson County departments announced what the public can expect through the phases.
Johnson County Motor Vehicle Offices reopened to the public beginning Monday, May 11, in a limited capacity with fewer residents served in person.
The offices resumed regular business hours of 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. In order to continue to protect the community and the health and safety of staff, the public is encouraged to utilize online, drop-off or mail-in options, instead of going to an office. The county administers vehicle registrations and vehicle titles. The state provides driver's license services in Johnson County. For driver's license services, visit the Kansas Department of Revenue.
