In observance of Older Americans Month, Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus program is sponsoring a Picnic in the Park at Meadowbrook Park, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village.

The 90-minute event will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6. Cost is $10 for Johnson County residents and $11 for nonresidents.

Activities include lunch, lawn games and more on the Great Lawn at Meadowbrook Park. Social distancing will be encouraged and so is socializing to connect, enjoy the company of others and the great outdoors.
