Need to title or register a vehicle, renew a vehicle registration, or visit a Johnson County Motor Vehicle office for another reason, but don’t want to wait in a long line? Get “in line” online, by phone or via the Qless app so you can keep working, run errands, or do whatever your day requires as you move toward the front of the line, rather than having to wait in person at the Motor Vehicle office.
To put yourself in the electronic queue, simply visit www.jocogov.org/treasurer and click on the “Reserve Now” button for whichever office location you prefer to visit (Olathe or Mission) on the right side of the screen under the “Get In Line at Motor Vehicle” heading. If you’d rather get in line using a telephone, call 1-888-956-2657 and follow the prompts. Or if smartphone apps are more your thing, download the Qless app (available through both iOS and Android app stores) and follow the on-screen instructions to put yourself in line. No matter which method you use to get in the queue, you can choose to receive line status updates through cell phone text messages or automated phone calls on a cell phone or land line.
Johnson County Motor Vehicle offices are open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please keep in mind that if the estimated wait time exceeds the hours of operation, you will not be able to check-in online or by phone until the following business day.
Please keep in mind that estimated wait times may vary based on the number of customers who place themselves in line online and who walk-in to our offices.
