High School Seniors

In 2019, our epidemiologists partnered with the Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) program to offer a public health focus to students in the Medical & Healthcare Strand. Over the Fall semester, students heard from public health professionals, asked questions and completed assignments with subject-matter-experts, and demonstrated their learning with poster presentations at the conclusion of their experience.

The Johnson County Department of Health and Environment is eager to work with our local school districts to develop a program for your students! Contact the Education Coordinator at [email protected] or call (913) 477-8337 today to discuss your needs!
