Contractor Licensing Review Board
Meeting Information
The next regularly scheduled Contractor Licensing Review Board meeting is Wednesday, Apr. 10, 2024 at 3:30 p.m.
The Contractor Licensing Review Board (CLRB) is comprised of nine members, appointed by the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners, which meet monthly on the second Wednesday of each month. The members serve without compensation. The specific duties of the CLRB are outlined in Resolution 058-01, pages 3-6.
The CLRB shall approve continuing education requirements, rules, and regulations for contractors as presented by the Education Committee.

- Review the list below for current vacancies.
- Complete an application form (PDF) and e-mail it to bocc-clerk@jocogov.org.
State law requires the county to create several of these boards and commissions. The Board of County Commissioners creates others.
Under the provisions of the Home Rule Charter, all appointed boards and commissions operate under the policies and procedures adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. All members appointed to a board or commission must follow the Johnson County government's Code of Ethics (Resolution No. 162-88).

Education Committee
Established by the CLRB on March 7, 2002, the CLRB Education Committee develops guidelines for continuing education and reviews applications for Code Credit and Non-Code Credit courses.
CLRB Education Committee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month. Applications must be received by the Johnson County Contractor Licensing office by the close of business, on the last day of the preceding month.
