K-State Olathe’s 2018 Research Showcase Helps Companies Navigate R&D Partnerships
April 24, 2018
Kansas State University has an excellent talent pipeline that extends from our undergraduate and graduate students to our postdoctoral and faculty researchers. Our institution has a long history of commitment to both basic and applied research that advances the innovations and technologies of tomorrow to improve lives and economic success in Kansas and around the world.
But you don’t have to take my word for it. Instead, I invite you to come and see for yourself at the 2018 K-State Research Showcase May 16 at K-State Olathe. Some of K-State’s best and brightest will be on hand from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. that day to discuss how we can forge new industry-university partnerships that help Kansas City-area companies develop, test and refine products and technologies. We hope you will join us for appetizers, drinks and great conversation about how we can help your company thrive.
The pace of innovation requires deft navigation of R&D and agreement processes, and K-State staff will be on hand to talk about our institution’s business-friendly approach. We have had great success building successful partnerships; in the last five years, the number of industry-funded projects at K-State has increased by 80 percent.
If you need more information, please read more about the event and then register on our website. You’ll also be able to find information about the exhibitors and their areas of expertise on the K-State mobile app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play. Look for our Research Showcase icon in the Manhattan campus or the K-State Olathe location.
Please contact my office at 785-532-5110 or vpr@k-state.edu if you have questions. See you at the Showcase!
