Honor Guard
Johnson County Sheriff’s Honor Guard is a group of Deputies brought together to represent the Sheriff’s Office, Law Enforcement and the community we serve. Honor Guard members are ambassadors of the organization through their participation in many community events and public ceremonies.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Honor Guard was established in 1988 with an original eight-member squad of dedicated men and women of the Sheriff’s Office.
The present-day Honor Guard has more than doubled since the creation of the unit and consists of deputies from throughout the organization. Honor Guard members have the same mission and dedication to serving the community, performing patriotic duties and ceremonies throughout the region.
