Olathe Motor Vehicle Office closed week of April 5

Johnson County’s Olathe Motor Vehicle Office located at 782 N. Ridgeview Road will remain closed to the public through the week of April 5 due to staffing shortages after multiple staff were impacted by COVID-19.  

Through contact tracing we have determined there is no reason to believe any customers were directly exposed to these individuals. Out of an abundance of caution, the facility has undergone deep cleaning and disinfection to protect the health and safety of the public and staff.

Customers who require in-person service can visit the Mission Motor Vehicle Office located at 6000 Lamar Avenue, which will remain open to the public with a limited capacity for customers in the queue.  If you must visit the office, you should reserve a place in line at 7:30 a.m. by visiting jocogov.org/residents/vehicles.  If you are unable to get in line, we recommend utilizing our online, drop-off, or mail-in services.  Additional information about these services can be found at the above webpage.
