COVID-19 Data

Data about COVID-19 in Johnson County, the state of Kansas, and the United States are now accessible using the buttons below. These links replace the Johnson County COVID-19 dashboard that was developed and maintained by county staff throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the end of the Federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) Declaration, policies that previously allowed states and counties to collect certain types of data (i.e., the data used to determine incidence rate and community transmission levels) have expired.

The following metrics remain available — COVID-19 hospital admissions, deaths, emergency department visits and test positivity — but the source of the data may have changed due to the end of the PHE. Public health agencies, healthcare providers, employers, schools and governments continue to rely on these sources for COVID-19 information to make decisions and recommendations to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This is a public health priority that will continue even with these data source changes.
