Enter our selfie contest, and you can win one free round-trip on Johnson County’s micro transit for up to four people. Submit your selfie between April 1 and April 15. Transit administrative staff may select up to two winners and contact them via email (or phone) by April 30, 2024.

Contest FAQ

What do you mean by selfie? What should be in my photo? 
We are looking for a photo of YOU on any form of RideKC public transportation (bus, micro transit, paratransit, streetcar, bike, etc.) – or at any RideKC transit center or bus shelter.

What’s the deadline?  
Selfies received by 5 p.m. on April 15, 2024, will be accepted for the contest. Up to two winners may be selected by transit administrative staff and contacted via email (or phone) by April 30, 2024.

Can anyone participate?  
The contest is open to everyone who uses any form of public transportation.

What else can you tell me about the prize?
The prize is one free round-trip on Johnson County’s micro transit for up to four people. This ride is not transferable to any other RideKC service. Prize/rides must be used by September 30, 2024. Winners must be present for the ride, and the prize can’t be given to other people. The rides must be inside of the Johnson County micro transit service area and taken during Johnson County’s micro transit service hours (see details by following this link and scrolling to the Johnson County section).

When will the winners be announced?  
We’ll attempt to notify the winners no later than April 30, 2024. Once confirmed, we’ll share it via social media the following week.
