Update on JCDHE's seasonal flu vaccine supply

The Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) has exhausted its supply of the seasonal flu vaccine for adults. Flu vaccine is still available at various pharmacies, retail stores, doctor's offices and urgent care centers in Johnson County. Enter your zip code in the Flu Vaccine Finder to find a vaccine provider near you.

JCDHE still has flu vaccine available until June 21, 2019 for children 18 and under who meet criteria. To find out if your child meets the criteria to get the vaccine, please come to our Olathe or Mission walk-in immunization clinic.

The best way to protect yourself from getting the flu is to receive the flu shot. The vaccine is safe and effective. JCDHE encourages everyone over the age of 6 months to get the flu shot.
