Department Update: The Records and Tax Administration department along with a portion of the Treasury and Financial Management department have combined to become a new department named Treasury, Taxation, and Vehicles (TTV). TTV is committed to providing exemplary service in the transition to a more customer centric service model. More information about TTV can be found here. Thank you for your understanding during this transition.
The Johnson County Records & Tax Administration (RTA) a division of TTV, combines the duties of the Register of Deeds, and County Clerk. The RTA division records and indexes all land record documents; and creates, maintains and calculates the annual tax roll. RTA also provides parcel level mapping and updates the automated mapping system.
RTA no longer requires an appointment to do research in our lobby. Research is again on a first come first serve basis. All safety protocols will continue to help protect the public as we move forward. Thank you for your patience.
