Johnson County residents aged 60 and above are welcome to join Aging and Human Services on Wednesday, Oct. 23 for an in-person culinary class on homemade apple pies. 

The class will be led by Johnson County K-State Research and Extension master food volunteers at the Johnson County Sunset Drive Office Building (11811 S. Sunset Drive Suite 1060) from 1-3 p.m.

Learn the time-honored pie-baking skills and show them off during the holidays this year! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll cover the basics of making, rolling, and handling pie dough. All participants will make and take home an apple pie to bake and enjoy! Please bring your own rolling pin to class.
