Please join us for an informational public meeting about Johnson County’s proposed homeless services center. This meeting will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Monticello Community Meeting Room at Monticello Library, 22435 W. 66th St., Shawnee.

At this meeting, you can learn more about a homeless services center planned for the current La Quinta Hotel (I-35 and 95th St.). Plans are for a year-round, 24/7 facility with private rooms and services to help people move into stable, permanent housing.

This meeting is one of two opportunities to learn more about the project and ask questions. Another meeting is taking place Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 5:30-7 p.m. in Room 1070/1075 at the Sunset Drive Office Building, 11811 S. Sunset Dr., Olathe.
