Join Johnson County Developmental Supports, KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and Lakemary Center on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Arts & Heritage Center for the IDD + Dementia Resource Fair.

This educational event is for supports and families of people living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Dementia.

Educational sessions will be conducted by local experts:

• 9 a.m. - Disease Education
• 10:15 a.m. - Partnering in Care and Interpreting Non-Verbal Communications From Those With Dementia
• 12:30 p.m. - Safe, Dementia-Friendly Environments and Meaningful Engagement
• 1:45 p.m. - Community Partner Panel Questions and Answer Session
