Johnson County Developmental Supports will be holding open interviews for individuals wanting to start their career as a Direct Support Professional or advance their career as a Senior DSP.

DSPs are skilled professionals that support individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities to participate in their communities.

• DSP starting pay: $16.18 per hour with a $2 per hour shift differential for weekend shifts and a $2,000 hiring bonus.
• Senior DSP starting pay: $19.61 per hour for those with 1+ years of experience plus $2 per hour shift differential for weekend shifts and a $2,000 hiring bonus.

DSPs are eligible for a generous benefits package that includes low-cost medical/vision insurance for your whole family (beginning on the first of the month following the start date), dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, participation in the KS Public Employees Retirement System, retirement match of up to 4%, paid time off, paid sick time, paid holidays and more.

No experience is required. All training is provided. Receive pay while training.
