Public Hearing on Proposed 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and 2025 Action Plan
The Community Development division will present its proposed 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and 2025 Annual Action Plan for a 30-day public review and comment period this fall.
The public input period will occur Sept. 18-Oct. 17, 2024, with a public hearing to take place on the proposed plans on Oct. 24 during the regular Board of County Commissioners meeting, starting at 9:30 a.m. in the Third Floor Hearing Room at the County Administration Building, 111 S. Cherry St. Olathe, KS.
Purpose of the Input Period
This period provides the opportunity for the public to provide input on the proposed 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and proposed uses of 2025 CDBG and HOME program funding. All comments will be included in the final 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan prior to submitting the Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

You can also submit comments in writing to the Community Development Coordinator in Suite 2000 of the County Administration Building, by phone at 913-715-2245, fax at 913-715-2222 or email at cdbg@jocogov.org. You must submit your comments by Oct. 17 or at the Oct. 24 public hearing.

If you require special accommodation (qualified interpreter, hearing assistance, etc.) in order to participate in the public hearing, please notify the Clerk of the Board no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the meeting.
