Advance voting wraps up Saturday and Monday in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, KAN. – Saturday and Monday are Johnson County voters’ last chances to cast their vote ahead of Election Day for the local general election.

All eight advance voting locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Three advance voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday: Arts & Heritage Center, Hilltop Conference Center, and Election Office.

  6. New Century Fieldhouse, 551 New Century Pkwy, Gardner
  7. Olathe Indian Creek Library, 16100 W 135th St, Olathe
  8. Monticello Library, 22435 W 66th St, Shawnee

Through the first five days of advance voting, Johnson County voters are setting a record pace for advance voting turnout in a local election. 15,969 votes have already been cast. Only 7,269 and 8,444 votes had been cast at the same point during the 2017 and 2019 elections, respectively.

City, school district, community college, and water and drainage district offices are on the ballot for the local general election. Voters can see their sample ballot at voter.jocoelection.org.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2. 151 polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must vote at their assigned polling location. The Election Office is not a polling location on Election Day. Voters can find their polling location at voter.jocoelection.org.
