Changes coming to RideKC Bus' 510 K-10 Connector

For those who commute between Johnson County and Lawrence, Kansas, changes are coming to RideKC Bus' 510 K-10 Connector.

The Connector will begin service to Lawrence's Central Station Transit Center on June 3. To accommodate this change, the 510 K-10 Connector will no longer serve the Peaslee Technical Training Center or the on-campus stop on Naismith Drive.

Central Station will be the only stop in Lawrence for the 510 K-10 Connector. If you need to get to another location in Lawrence, you can ride bus route 8 to travel between Central Station and Peaslee Tech and routes 4, 8, 11 and 30 to travel between Central Station and campus.

The 510 K-10 Connector will still stop at KU Edwards Campus and Johnson County Community College's Midwest Trust Center in Overland Park as part of this route. However, the Connector will also eliminate underutilized trips, including those before 6 a.m. and after 6 p.m.

The 510 K-10 Connector is operating break service now through Friday, Aug. 23, without service on Monday, May 27 due to Memorial Day, and Thursday, July 4 due to Independence Day. Break service is specified on the 510 K-10 Connector schedule and includes the summer term, school breaks and holidays.

For route and schedule information, visit Johnson County Transit's RideKC Bus page or ridekc.org. You can also contact the Regional Call Center at 816-221-0660, weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
