Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) is offering an easier way for eligible people to get their first dose COVID-19 vaccination.

People who are age 16 and older and either live or work in Johnson County can walk in this week during the dates and times listed below, without an appointment, to receive this life-saving vaccine.

• 4 – 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 21
• 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 22

The vaccination clinic is located at 15500 W. 108^th St., Lenexa.

You should bring a photo ID and a printed and signed copy of the vaccine consent form. Children age 16 or 17 must have a parent accompany them to the appointment and sign the consent form. For those who do not have access to a printer, consent forms are available at the clinic.

“We are excited to offer a more convenient way for Johnson County residents and workers to get vaccinated. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective and will help us get back to life before the pandemic,” said JCDHE Director Dr. Sanmi Areola. “We encourage all eligible people to get vaccinated. It only takes 20-30 minutes and it could save your life.”
