Johnson County Department of Health and Environment wants your thoughts on solid waste and recycling

The Johnson County Department of Health and Environment is asking the community to complete a survey to share their thoughts on new waste diversion initiatives. Only Johnson County residents will be able to complete the survey.

Completing the survey will help JCDHE understand the needs and preferences of Johnson County residents regarding recycling, household hazardous waste, organics (food and yard waste) diversion, and construction and demolition waste.

“This information will guide JCDHE in developing effective, equitable programs to meet the community’s needs," said Mary Beverly, JCDHE Environmental Division director. “The community’s input is an important part of the process, so please take a few minutes to let us know what you think."

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete. It will close on March 22. Take the survey at this link.
