We audited 9-1-1 operations for Johnson County’s two County-operated emergency call centers to determine if emergency calls were dispatched effectively and efficiently. We found they were dispatched effectively but their were opportunities for the County to achieve more efficiencies that will result in better outcomes for the community’s needs.
