Johnson County’s Election Office releases updated filing deadlines
The Johnson County Election Office is providing an updated list of deadlines to file to run for office. The deadlines are extended for offices impacted by redistricting map changes, including precinct committee positions.
Deadline of noon on Wednesday, June 1
- County Commission Chairman, County Commission 1st, 4th & 5th Districts; Township Clerk; Prairie Village - Mayor

- Statewide office without districts
- Secretary of State Office, Memorial Hall, 120 S.W. 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66612
Deadline of noon on Friday, June 10
- Precinct Committeeman/Committeewoman

- Deadline to change voter party affiliation prior to August 2 Primary Election
