Monica Pfannes has been hired as the new director of the Johnson County Community Developmental Disabilities Organization (CDDO). Monica will begin Monday, Mar. 28.

Monica has worked in intellectual and developmental disabilities and in behavioral health for 29 years. She began her career as a direct support professional after graduation from Northwest Missouri State University. Monica has also been a case manager and a director in different agencies in six states.

Monica was born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska and is an avid Huskers football fan. She loves golf and watching sports and she and her husband, Marty have two children in high school.
