Johnson County Public Works is conducting an informal information meeting Nov. 16 about upcoming safety improvement projects along Mission Road.

The meeting will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Sunrise Point Elementary School, 15800 Roe Ave., Overland Park, KS.

There will be no presentation, so you're welcome to come anytime during the meeting view displays and ask questions.

Mission Road, south of the Blue River, is an unengineered and unimproved road. Safety improvements are needed as growth and traffic continue to increase.

Improvement projects are in the works along the road from Orchard Lane south to 199th Street. Learn more about these future improvements.

Johnson County Park and Recreation District will also be on hand at the meeting to provide information about upcoming trail projects along Mission Road.
