Schedule change for COVID-19 vaccinations and testing

Beginning January 3, 2022, Johnson County Department of Health and Environment is changing the current schedule for COVID-19 vaccinations and testing.

JCDHE will offer free COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment on:

  • Mondays and Thursdays 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays 1 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

The vaccine clinics are located at JCDHE’s Mission site, 6000 Lamar Avenue, Suite 140.

You can save time by completing this form and bringing it to your appointment.

Please bring your COVID-19 vaccination record card for the second or booster dose.

Testing appointments will be available on:

  • Wednesdays from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

JCDHE offers testing at its Olathe site, 11875 S. Sunset Drive. Additional testing opportunities are also available.

“We encourage families to take advantage of any opportunity to get vaccinated. This is the best way to protect against symptomatic COVID disease that could result in hospitalization,” said Dr. Sanmi Areola, JCDHE director. “Testing is also important if you have been a close contact of someone who has tested positive, or if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.”
