Take a road trip this weekend to visit Parade of Hearts in Johnson County

Heart-shaped sculpture with collage of Kansas City landmarks

Today is Road Trip Day, and with the upcoming holiday weekend, it is a great time to get outdoors to check out the Parade of Hearts that can be found in Johnson County.

You may have noticed these five-foot fiberglass hearts displayed throughout the Kansas City area. The hearts are a celebration of Kansas City’s claim as America’s Heartland.

Each heart was designed and decorated by local artists. They will be on display until June 10, so you still have a few weeks to go see them.

You can travel to cities throughout the county to see the hearts. Learn more about all of the hearts in Kansas City. Feel free to get a photo of the heart and/or a selfie and share on social media using #ParadeOfHeartsJoCo.
