Congratulations on being selected for student placement at Johnson County Mental Health Center!
To begin the onboarding process, please promptly complete the documents listed below and return them to MNH-Students@jocogov.org.
Also, we recommend you review the JCMHC Student Guide, which provides valuable information and guidance for students placed within our center.
In addition to the guide, your Field Instructors at JCMHC are here to supervise, train, and instruct you. They will ensure you receive the experience and guidance needed to meet your academic program's core competencies while upholding JCMHC's standards and quality of care for our clients.

Background Check Authorization Forms
Students at JCMHC must submit the three background check authorizations below. Signatures must be affixed to the documents using Adobe Fill and sign a PDF or ink. Scanned or photographed copies of the signed documents are acceptable. Please ensure that all fields are filled out completely, and return the forms to MNH-Students@jocogov.org.

Students assigned to work in residential centers, correctional facilities, or the County Communications Center are also required to undergo the fingerprinting process. Forms and guidance will be furnished to the student separately in those cases.
Students will be notified when the background checks have cleared.
Student Agreement
Students at JCMHC are asked to complete, review, and sign the student agreement that is most applicable to their placement experience. Return the signed form to MNH-Students@jocogov.org.
