White Collar Crime
The Johnson County District Attorney's Office received a federal grant allowing for the creation of a new White Collar Crime Unit.
Minor in Possession
Each year the juvenile division of the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office could charge hundreds of juveniles with the crime of Minor in Possession, the crime commonly referred to as MIP.

Volunteer Program
The criminal justice system is overwhelming to the majority of people who become involved as a victims or witnesses. As a volunteer you will have an opportunity to advocate for the victim. You will help educate the public to the criminal justice process,
Victim Rights
It is the right of the victim of a crime to be informed about the progress of a case. The Victim Assistance Unit identifies and notifies victims when charges have been filed in all felony and misdemeanor cases in the adult and juvenile courts.

June 15 is annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Johnson County is not immune to reports of elder abuse with increased cases mirroring continued growth of an aging population.
