Open Burn Permit
Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) enforces the state air quality regulations on open burning. These regulations are designed to protect human health and the environment. JCDHE issues open burning exemptions in accordance with these regulations when prudent and necessary.

Medicaid/Insurance Enrollment
Our trained staff can help you enroll in an insurance plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace (Affordable Care Act). Enrollment assistance is also available for KanCare. Spanish speakers are available to assist clients with questions or enrollment. Limited appointments are available at JCDHE's Olathe office. Call 913-826-1200 to schedule an appointment.
