Turkey Creek Festival set May 20
The Turkey Creek Festival, with a Creek Chic Arts and Crafts Market, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20 at Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Rd., Merriam.

An April 15 ribbon cutting has been set for the new inclusive playground and related Phase 2 developments in the northeast corner of Meadowbrook Park, located near Roe Avenue and Meadowbrook Parkway.
Special exhibit ends March 18
A traveling exhibit exploring the history of federal, of f-reservation American Indian boarding schools, which operated between the 18 80s and the 1980s, is the latest temporary exhibit now being presented through Match 18 by the Johnson County Museum.
