Woodland Tales with Father Christmas will take place from 10-11 a.m. Dec. 9 at Ernie Miller Park, 909 N. K-7 Highway, Olathe.

The Johnson County Park and Recreation District will be accepting post-holiday contributions of discarded natural Christmas trees at four locations from Dec. 26 through Jan. 31, 2024

A display of artifacts relating to Jewish fall and winter holidays is the Johnson County Museum’s holiday exhibit this year. The temporary exhibit, which opened Sept. 29 and will run through Jan. 6, is called “Jewish Holidays in the All-Electric House.”

The Lanesfield Historic Site, 18745 S. Dillie Road, Edgerton, will deck its halls during the holiday season so Johnson County residents of all ages may experience a traditional 1904, old-fashioned Christmas, and feature a Country Christmas from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.
