Do you have boxes of pictures and other family history items in your basement or attic? Are they organized? Have they been digitized for future generations?

Gardening program turns 50!

A seed was planted and did it ever take root and grow! Happy golden anniversary to the Extension Master Gardener program. The program was started by Washington State University Extension Agents Dr. David Gibby and Bill Scheer and has grown from its humble beginning in 1973.

Spring will be here soon! With warmer weather just around the corner, Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Program has planned some great opportunities to get out and have some fun!

State of the County set April 4

Mike Kelly, new chairman of the Johnson County Board of Commissioners, will present his first State of County Address on Tuesday, April 4, at the Overland Park Convention Center, 6000 College Blvd.
