Supported Employment
JCDS has partnered with several businesses within our community to provide supported work crews at these business locations. A supported work crew is a group of individuals that act as a team to complete production work.
The Supported Employment work crew is supervised by an Employment Coach provided by JCDS and by the business itself. Being a part of a work crew is a good opportunity to get some hands-on work experience at a community business with the support of a JCDS Employment Coach.
Work crew employees are paid minimum wage or higher.
Most crews work between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., but hours can vary.
