Accessing Services

The first step in accessing services is to use our same-day, walk-in hours, which we call Open Access. You will meet with a member of our staff who will listen to you and assess your individual needs. For about half of those who walk in, the process ends here with a connection to a provider in the community.

There is no charge for the conversation that occurs in this step of Open Access. Learn more about Open Access

Open Access hours start at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday at our Shawnee and Olathe locations.

Accessing Services Tip

Individuals accessing services are asked to bring in insurance cards and/or proof of finances, photo ID and proof of Johnson County residency so we can quickly determine sliding scale fees for service.
