Higher Ground is a skill-based parent education program for co-parenting and high-conflict families.

In part, the class will address the following:

  • How ongoing conflict between parents and repeated court involvement hurts children.
  • How to develop a child and future focused mindset and set realistic expectations as separated parents.
  • How to respect each other's differences and communicate effectively.
  • Methods to defuse conflict, manage emotions and make mutual decisions for the benefit of your children.

Higher Ground is a series of five sessions lasting two hours on Tuesday evenings according to the class schedule.

The cost is $150 per parent, which includes written materials and parent workbooks, presentations with videos and expert guest speakers, small group discussion and skill practice with large group debriefing.
