Zoning Boards
Zoning Boards conduct public hearings and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on matters of zoning, land use, and development in township. The board considers site plans for new businesses, requests for rezoning or special uses of property, and requests to subdivide land into lots.

Note: The Northwest and Southwest Consolidated Zoning Boards have merged to become the new West Consolidated Zoning Board. The Southeast Consolidated Zoning Board is now the East Consolidated Zoning Board.

West Consolidated Zoning Board
Conducts public hearings and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on matters of zoning, land use, and development of townships. The board considers site plans for new businesses, requests for rezoning or special uses of property, and requests to subdivide land into lots.
East Consolidated Zoning Board
Conducts public hearings and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on matters of zoning, land use, and development of townships. The board considers site plans for new businesses, requests for rezoning or special uses of property, and requests to subdivide land into lots.
Board of Zoning Appeals
Assists in reviewing cases of individuals requesting variances from zoning regulations. After hearing each case, the zoning appeals board submits recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners, who are responsible for making the final judgement on each request.
