Special events with 50 Plus coming in fall
Three upcoming fall social events by the Johnson County Park and Recreation 50 Plus Department provide a good opportunity for participants to mix and mingle.

In the spirit of Halloween, “Murder at the Masquerade,” a murder mystery dinner party with a catered meal, is planned at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse in Prairie Village. Participants, who can attend with their masquerade masks, will have the opportunity to play a part in a murder mystery during a masquerade ball. Cost is $79/$81 nonresidents.
Twelve games of mild chili bingo, with prizes for the winners, will be played at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Roeland Park Community Center. Everyone will receive a special fall gift. Cost is $17/$19 nonresidents.
