The Adult Residential Center has immediate openings for the Correctional Advisor position. The Adult Residential Center offers three programs (Therapeutic Community, Work Release and Problem Solving Beds) which assist clients in their successful re-entry back into the community. All of our clients are serving short sentences (less than nine months) and need assistance removing some of the barriers to success they have had in the past.

Correctional Advisors have the option to choose from eight-, 10- and 12-hour shifts. With three different programs located on our campus, there is always something new and challenging during your work day.

The Department of Correction is a large department with Adult, Juvenile and Field operations. A good Correctional Advisor will have numerous career paths and promotional opportunities within the Department.

The Juvenile Detention Center has immediate openings for the Youth Correctional Advisor position. The Juvenile Detention Center houses youth between the ages of 10-17 that have been alleged to have committed an offense. While youth are in the secure detention center, they receive education, programming, services, and activities. Staff utilize Positive Behavior Supports to guide our behavior management system and interactions with youth.

Youth Correctional Advisors primarily work 12-hour shifts, but a few eight-hour shifts are available. The facility is staffed 24/7.
