2020-2024 Consolidated Plan & 2020 Action Plan Public Comment Period and Hearing Date Announced!

Johnson County Community Development presents its proposed 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan to the citizens of Johnson County for a 30-day public review and comment period, September 22, 2019 through October 23, 2019. The Public Hearing date on Johnson County’s proposed 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Action Plan will be held on October 24, 2019 during the 9:30 a.m. BOCC meeting in the Hearing Room on the third floor of the County Administration Building, 111 South Cherry Street, Olathe, Kansas. The purpose of the 30-day public comment period and public hearing is to receive comments from citizens on the proposed 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and proposed uses of 2020 CDBG and HOME program funding.

All comments will be included in the final 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan prior to submitting the Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Comments can also be made in writing to the Community Development Coordinator at 11811 South Sunset Drive, Suite 1300, Olathe, KS 66061-3441, by phone at (913) 715-8990, by fax at (913) 715-8825 or by e-mail at cdbg@jocogov.org. Comments must be received by October 23, 2019 or at the October 24, 2019 Public Hearing.
