It’s income tax season and Johnson County residents have access to two free resources to help them navigate the forms, tables and deadlines.
Johnson County K-State Research and Extension is again hosting the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site at the Sunset Drive Office Building, 11811 S. Sunset Drive, Olathe. This service is available on a first-come, first-served basis for those with lower income. Learn more about this tax service.
Johnson County Library and AARP are also here to help with tax services at the Central Resource Library, 9875 W. 87th St., Overland Park. This service is primarily by appointment, with limited walk-in availability. Learn more about the AARP tax service for older adults and those of lower income.
