Johnson County Park and Recreation District's 50 Plus Department will host two Alzheimer’s and dementia programs on Wednesday, March 8, and Wednesday, April 5, at Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village.

The first presentation will “Be in the Know” programs that will cover Healthy Living for the Body and Brain. The second program will focus on “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia.”

Alzheimer’s Association professionals will discuss items such as, how to recognize common signs of Alzheimer’s and dementia; how to approach someone about memory concerns; and the importance of early detection and benefits of diagnosis.
