Lakes at two Johnson County parks will be closed March 10 for the annual trout stocking.

Kill Creek Park will be stocked with 600 pounds of trout and Shawnee Mission Park will be stocked with 1,400 pounds.

After the fish are stocked, the lakes will be closed to all fishing until Saturday, March 11, at the 5 a.m. parks’ opening.

JCPRD permits and Kansas State fishing license required.
