TimberRidge open house set April 27
The annual open house at the TimberRidge Adventure Center, 12300 Homestead Lane, Olathe, will again feature a wide range of fun from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 27
Activities include archery, BB gun shooting, slingshot, canoing, hiking, fishing, kayaking, pedal boating and campfire snacks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fishing is available, however participants ages 16 and older are required to have Kansas State fishing license. Licenses will not be sold on site. Cops n’ Bobbers will have poles and bait available for use or you may bring your own.
The center's Hawks Nest Climbing Wall for ages 10 and older will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Climbing participants are required to complete medical and liability releases prior to participating. Forms will be available at the Welcome Center and the climbing tower. Climbing is first come first serve in-person at the event.
