Jumpstart the new year with a trip with Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Department.

Three trips remain open, including:

• “From Academy to Battlefield” – Tours of the Wentworth Academy Military Museum and Lexington Battlefield Museum at Lexington, Mo. on Tuesday, Jan. 25. $89 per person.

• “Call of Combat” – Tours the Combat Air Museum, with 45 military aircrafts, and the Museum of the Kansas National Guard at Topeka on Thursday, Feb. 10. $89 per person.

• “We’ve Come A Long Way” – Explore St. Joseph, Mo. on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Tours include the Patee House, Glore Psychiatric Museum and Pony Express Museum. $99 per person.

All trips depart from Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch Road, Merriam. Transportation is a 50-passenger motorcoach. Day trips are all inclusive, including lunch, tour tickets and gratuity.
