Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s 50 Plus Program is hosting an indoor pickleball tournament for recreational and competitive players on Friday, Aug. 16.

The New Century Classic pickleball tournament will take place at New Century Fieldhouse, 551 New Century Parkway, at the New Century AirCenter near Gardner.

The tournament includes gender and mixed doubles divisions for 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+ players. Prizes will be presented to first, second and third place teams in each division.

All players must be 50 years of age by Dec. 31, 2024.
